Zach Miller
Zach attended Edgewood College where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Accounting and Finance, a Master’s in Business Administration, and was a four-year member of the Edgewood College Soccer Team. Prior to joining Fine Point Consulting in 2015, Zach held roles as a financial accountant and collateral examiner for two separate publicly held companies. Zach is excited by the opportunities and challenges of working with different businesses across a variety of industries.
Zach serves as Chief Operating Officer of Fine Point Consulting, where he has been a driving force in the firm's growth and operations for over a decade. In his current role, Zach oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring the team delivers consistent, high-quality service to clients across the firm's service areas.
Zach's path to COO reflects a steady progression of responsibility within Fine Point. He joined the firm in 2015 as Controller, was promoted to Director of the Madison office in 2018, and assumed the COO role in 2020. His deep familiarity with the firm, its people, its clients, and its culture gives him a unique perspective on how to lead it effectively.
Before joining Fine Point, Zach built a strong foundation in accounting and finance. He worked as a Field Examiner at First Business Bank in the Greater Madison Area and prior to that as a Revenue Accountant at Merge Healthcare, an IBM Company.
Zach holds both a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance and a Master of Business Administration from Edgewood University in Madison, Wisconsin.

Zach joined Fine Point Consulting in 2015 as a Controller, quickly distinguishing himself by taking on expanded management and internal responsibilities beyond his initial role. Recognizing his leadership potential, the firm promoted him to Director of the Madison office in 2018, where he guided the location's overall direction and growth for nearly two years. In 2020, Zachary stepped into the Chief Operating Officer role, assuming shared responsibility for internal firm operations, finance, human resources, and sales and marketing — bringing steady leadership and operational continuity to the organization after the founder had stepped away from day to day operations.
