Meet our team

Chelsea Stanton
President
Chelsea started with Fine Point in 2013 after receiving her Associate’s Degree in Accounting. She excelled in all areas of the company, earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Edgewood College, and has since been appointed President. Chelsea developed the Client Onboarding & Assurance department — her most recent previous position as Director of Onboarding and Quality Assurance allowed her to work with nearly every client and become the go-to expert on all things Fine Point.
Zach Miller
Chief Operating Officer
Zach attended Edgewood College where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in both Accounting and Finance, a Master’s in Business Administration, and was a four-year member of the Edgewood College Soccer Team. Prior to joining Fine Point Consulting in 2015, Zach held roles as a financial accountant and collateral examiner for two separate publicly held companies. Zach is excited by the opportunities and challenges of working with different businesses across a variety of industries.
Jason Stansell
Milwaukee Practice Leader
Jason graduated from UW-Whitewater, where he received a Master of Accountancy. He began his career in Madison at a public accounting firm as an auditor of both public and privately held companies with an emphasis on startups and manufacturing. After leaving public accounting, he transitioned into helping turn-around manufacturing companies in the Milwaukee area. Jason serves as both a Controller and head of business development in Milwaukee. He loves helping different businesses with their unique needs and solving challenging problems.
Danny Burns
Madison Practice Leader
Danny graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Finance. Prior to joining Fine Point Consulting, Danny began his career in public accounting at Baker Tilly in Madison, where he obtained his CPA license. In his spare time, Danny enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. Danny is excited to use his prior experiences to help clients with their specific needs and continue to help them succeed.
Rossela Carreon
Staff Accountant
Rossela Carreon graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration - Accounting concentration from California State University San Bernardino in 2012. After graduating, she began working as an in-house accountant for a medical management company where she was exposed to a variety of complex accounting tasks. She then moved on to work for an accounting/tax firm in Los Angeles, California, helping a diverse range of industries. Rossela enjoys problem solving and providing great customer service to her clients.
Melanie Campoverde
Staff Accountant
Melanie graduated from Queens College in New York with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. While studying, she gained experience as a bookkeeper for an automotive dealership — this is where she discovered her passion for accounting! Since then she continued her career in the accounting field for various industries. Melanie is a very dedicated, hard worker who takes pride in her work and ensures that the client is receiving top quality bookkeeping services.
Hunter Decman
Accounting Manager
Hunter graduated from Luther College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. While in college he gained valuable accounting experience working with an HVAC contractor. He is excited to work with a variety of businesses at Fine Point. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
Diana Endres
Onboarding & Assurance Specialist
Diana joined the Fine Point team in 2013 and has over a decade of accounting experience. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and became a CPA. She currently leads the onboarding of new clients and enjoys kicking off client relationships with a positive experience. Outside of work, Diana is mom to two young kids, enjoys golfing, reading, and eating at Chipotle.
Allie Huber
Controller
Allie came to Fine Point Consulting in 2011 with experience in accounting for a small retail store. Since then, she has graduated from Upper Iowa University where she received her bachelor’s in Accounting. Allie enjoys working with nonprofit organizations and loves the variety of small for-profit businesses she gets to work with. She also enjoys traveling in her spare time.
Angie Jones
Staff Accountant
Staff Accountant Angie Jones’ experience encompasses a wide variety of industries, clients, and projects. Her background includes audits of nonprofits, local governments and schools, and full-charge bookkeeping, payroll, and taxes. After graduating from Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Accounting, she accumulated 19 years of tax experience by working with H&R Block and a local firm before joining the Fine Point team in 2020. Her growth mindset is inspiring! She is always eager to meet new people and learn new skills.
Leroy Kolacinski
Controller
Leroy holds a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and obtained his CPA license in 2002. Other prior educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in music education and a Master of Science in educational administration from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, along with a completed paralegal studies program at Carthage College.
Kyle Krantz
Intern
Kyle is a student at UW Madison studying accounting. He enjoys putting what he's learning in college into practice since joining FPC in 2019. In his spare time, he is involved in multiple student organizations and enjoys playing intramural sports with his friends.
Erica Laube
Accounting Manager
Erica graduated from Rockford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Accounting specialization. While working her way through school, she received hands-on training in tax and tax auditing during her internship. After completing her degree, Erica moved to the Madison area to begin her accounting career and later obtained her Master’s of Business Administration from Rockford University. When she’s not working, Erica likes to spend time painting and gardening.
Laura Miller
Staff Accountant
Laura Miller joined the Fine Point Consulting team in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. After graduating, Laura has provided all different levels of accounting and bookkeeping services over more than two decades and has vast experience in telecommuting. She is a quick study who is dependable, strives to always exceed job expectations, and is contagiously compassionate. Laura is a Wyoming native and loves spending time with her family.
Gail Pawlak
Accounting Manager
Gail joined Fine Point in March of 2011 with over 30 years experience in accounting and management. Past experiences include manufacturing accounting, property management and managing the finances of an antique store she owned for 10 years.
Valeria Rodriguez
Accounting Manager
Valeria is an Accounting Manager with over a decade of experience. She began working in the Accounting field right after graduating high school and has amassed an extensive, diversified bank of knowledge in accounting by working in different industries throughout her career. She completed an Associate in Science degree in 2017.
Lenise Leknes
Accounting Manager
After graduating with an Associate of Science degree in 2009, Lenise began her career as a Junior Bookkeeper for a South Florida contractor. Since then, she’s grown and gained many experiences. As an Accounting Manager, she wears many hats to help out wherever she’s needed at Fine Point. Her collaborative attitude is a huge asset — one of her favorite things about Fine Point is the culture of teamwork. Outside of work, Lenise is the mother of a son named Taj. Fine Point’s results-based environment allows her to be there for him while still making a difference in her career.
Dan Karnick
Assistant Controller
Dan started with Fine Point Consulting in 2019. After spending five years in auditing and public accounting, he is excited to dive back into the bookkeeping world and grow with Fine Point Consulting. Dan is prepared to help out wherever he’s needed as an Accounting Manager — and he especially looks forward to being involved in the business side of things, an interest he’s had since college. His experience working with a variety of different teams and redeveloping entire audit processes has equipped him with valuable skills like adaptability and a commitment to being a team player.
Lindsay Dott
Controller
Lindsay started with Fine Point Consulting as an Assistant Controller right after Labor Day 2021. She comes from a strong tax background — with more than a decade of experience in public accounting, she’s particularly excited to help FPC’s tax team. Lindsay loves connecting with clients and coworkers. Her goal is to be a resource through all the ups and downs, lending her own support to help those around her find success. She enjoys being on the same team as her clients, ultimately having the opportunity to help companies grow from the ground up. Outside of work, Lindsay is a new mother to baby Jackson, who was born in November 2020. She and her husband also have two dogs: a 10 year old and a new puppy!
Marnie Farrell
Office & Tax Administrator
Marnie started with Fine Point Consulting at the beginning of December 2021. She joins the team as Office & Tax Administrator and looks forward to tackling a range of diverse and evolving responsibilities. Having spent most of her career as a copywriter—with additional experience working for legal and accounting firms—Marnie is excited to bring her attention to detail, ability to streamline processes, and knack for multi-tasking to the role. She is grateful to work with a team of incredible professionals who foster a welcoming and supportive environment. In her free time, Marnie likes to stay creative with cardmaking and photography. She loves spending time with her husband and two sons and is a proud basketball mom.
Isabel Sendra
Staff Accountant
Isabel joined the Fine Point Consulting team as a staff accountant in January 2022. She relishes the opportunity in this role to best support clients in their internal accounting needs. Isabel brings an array of industry experience to the role at Fine Point Consulting. Having worked in a private firm on the bookkeeping end, as well as in a public firm as an audit associate, she is well-versed on both sides of the client experience and looks forward to implementing this knowledge to streamline audit preparation for Fine Point clients. A Texas resident, Isabel loves the flexibility to work remotely and travel between Dallas and Houston. She enjoys hiking, a good Netflix series, and looks forward to balancing work with international travel.
Arden Lai
Staff Accountant
Arden started with Fine Point Consulting as a staff accountant in February 2022. She is excited to work on a strong team that demonstrates support for clients, as well as each other. Arden brings an array of accounting experience to the role, having worked for several years across startup, municipality, and property management environments. She appreciates the flexibility that Fine Point Consulting offers, coupled with the experience and professionalism of her coworkers. Outside of work, Arden can often be found hiking, spending time with family, and baking sweet treats. Having recently picked up photography, she enjoys doing engagement and graduation shoots with friends.
Heather Nathan
Controller
Heather is a University of South Carolina graduate with a bachelors in Business Administration - Accounting. She joins Fine Point Consulting as an Assistant Controller and enjoys helping clients work through and understand their financials. Coming from a management position, Heather is excited to be more client-facing in her new role and looks forward to gathering as much knowledge as possible working with a varied client base. She is proud to work in a collaborative and positive remote environment that allows her to strike a happy work-life balance. A mother of two small children, Heather jokes that her free time is spent keeping tiny people alive. The family loves to be outside together, enjoying the beautiful weather in South Carolina.
Douglas Leknes
Staff Accountant
A Staff Accountant, Douglas joined the Fine Point Consulting team in early May 2022. He brings prior experience in accounting to the role, as well as an excitement for working with small business owners and rising to the challenge of meeting a variety of needs. Immediately drawn to the flexibility of Fine Point, Douglas enjoys being in control of his day and being present at home as a father and husband. He is proud to be in a role that supports his family and hopes to grow within the company over the years. Outside of work, Douglas loves to play sports — especially basketball and football. Based in Forsyth, Georgia, he keeps busy with numerous home renovations when he’s not enjoying time with family.
Katie Wilkins
Staff Accountant
Katie joined the Fine Point Consulting team in May 2022 as a Staff Accountant. A small business owner herself, Katie enjoys being able to bring practical experience into her interactions with clients — whether that’s helping with financial statements or cleaning up accounts. A mother of four, Katie loves the work/life balance at Fine Point, as well as the strong connection between team members and clients. In addition to the environment, Katie appreciates working with Fine Point’s range of great technology and being at the cutting edge of the industry. Outside of work, Katie is an ultra runner, and loves to train in the mountains of Utah with her dog, avoiding snakes and coyotes.
Nigel Case
Staff Accountant
Nigel joined the Fine Point Consulting team as a Staff Accountant in October 2022, bringing several years of accounts payable experience to the role. Nigel is excited to engage with clients throughout the full accounting cycle. Initially drawn to Fine Point Consulting’s workplace culture, he enjoys the flexibility of the work environment and the friendliness of the team members. Nigel takes pride in his work ethic and appreciates that coworkers find him reliable and hardworking. In his free time, Nigel enjoys playing board games and video games, as well as hiking. As a Floridian, he likes traveling to places with higher elevation, but enjoys any opportunity to explore the outdoors.
Julie Warren
Staff Accountant
Julie started with Fine Point Consulting in October 2022 as a Staff Accountant. Initially drawn to Fine Point’s size, flexibility, and family orientation, she loves interacting with her team and working with a portfolio of small companies. Julie brings 20 years of experience to the role, having previously worked across the bookkeeping industry — including her own business working for small businesses and startups. Julie is excited to be with a company where she can continue to learn and grow her software base. In her free time, Julie stays busy with her 9-year old’s school and social activities. Originally from Washington state, she now lives in Helena, Montana, taking full advantage of the area’s hiking, camping, and fishing opportunities.
Jake Eichinger
Assistant Controller
Jake joined the Fine Point Consulting team in November 2022 as an Assistant Controller. Drawn to Fine Point’s flexible, remote work approach and culture of self-accountability, Jake loves optimizing processes and improving existing workflows. His self-starter attitude has taken him far in his career. In his new role, Jake hopes to assemble the strongest possible team and build on his considerable finance and auditing experience in the corporate and non-profit sectors. Off the clock, he loves spending time with his family, who share his passions for reading and playing the violin.
Susan Drake
Staff Accountant
Susan joined the Fine Point Consulting family in January of 2023 as a Staff Accountant. With nine years of experience across accounting and payroll, Susan excels at building strong professional relationships and adapting to new systems. She says Fine Point’s impressive client history, business philosophy, and supportive culture made joining the team an easy call. She is confident that her commitment to going above and beyond, paired with her attention to detail, will help her continue to grow in her new role! Susan, her husband, and their two boys – all big sports fans – live in Nashville. Though she jokes that she’s far from athletic, Susan recently took up tennis and loves hitting the court with friends!
Ana Arevalo
Staff Accountant
Ana became a staff accountant at Fine Point Consulting in February of 2023. With prior experience managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, Ana is making her return to the world of finance after running her own 24-hour daycare business. A lifelong learner and someone who quickly adapts and learns new skills, she’s excited to grow with Fine Point! Local to Highland, California, Ana spends most of her free time with family, homeschooling her kids, baking bread together, and getting outdoors as much as possible!
Kate Karre
Senior HR Practice Partner
Joining the Fine Point Consulting team in August of 2023 as a Senior HR Practice Partner, Kate brings 15 years of HR experience across a diverse range of industries. She earned a bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from Edgewood College before returning to complete her MBA and is currently pursuing certification in Professional Coaching. Kate enjoys working with clients in all sectors; she prides herself on her ability to build systems from the ground up and looks forward to bringing these skills to Fine Point Consulting! In her free time, she loves to stay busy – whether pet-sitting, reading, or binge-watching the latest show.
Missy Webb
Tax Manager
Joining the Fine Point Consulting team in September of 2023, Missy brings over 10 years of varied accounting experience. She entered the field in 2012, getting her start in tax, later transitioning into forensic accounting, before moving back into tax. She is especially proud to say that she survived working in public accounting while earning her CPA license simultaneously. As Tax Manager, Missy currently leads our tax department by reviewing tax returns and staying in touch with clients, but she looks forward to contributing new ideas for processes and building relationships with the members of her team. Away from her desk, Missy enjoys visiting her favorite local restaurants, reading, and having a good nap.
Carsten Thomas
Assistant Controller
Holding a B.S. in accounting from UM-Crookston and a Masters in Finance from LSU-Shreveport, Carsten has previous experience managing finance for startups. After learning to build systems from the ground up, he joined the Fine Point Consulting team in October 2023 as an Assistant Controller. Carsten’s favorite thing about Fine Point is the flexible and fun culture. He looks forward to all the opportunities this new chapter will bring, including the chance to set his colleagues and clients up for success. When he’s not at his desk, Carsten is an avid fisherman, whether it’s on the ice or open water.
