Jason graduated from UW-Whitewater, where he received a Master of Accountancy. He began his career in Madison at a public accounting firm as an auditor of both public and privately held companies with an emphasis on startups and manufacturing. In addition to financial statement audits, Jason also audited benefit plans and assisted with some tax return preparation. After leaving public accounting, he transitioned into helping turn-around manufacturing companies in the Milwaukee area, serving as a Controller and CFO. During this time, Jason learned the importance of strong financial systems and prioritizing the importance of good cash flow management. In 2018, Jason joined Fine Point Consulting as a Controller and head of business development in Milwaukee. Since then, he has been promoted to Director and serves on the Executive team, helping to guide firm strategy, drive growth initiatives, and support the overall direction and operations of the business. He loves helping different businesses with their unique needs and solving challenging problems.

I initially joined Fine Point to start the Milwaukee office. I began as a Controller and split my time 50/50 between working with clients and doing business development in the Milwaukee area. From there I joined the Executive Team and eventually went on to purchase the company with three other current FPC employees. My role has continued to evolve over the years, but in general I still split my time between serving as a Controller/CFO for my clients as well as working on firm initiatives and business development.
